i actually went home kinda early last night so that i could get some sleep. i left work about 930, but when i got home i got pulled into the discovery channel which was playing their whole "raging planet" series, straight trough. volcanos and earthquakes and blizzards and tsunamis and such. nature destroying civilization is pretty intriguing. and so i didn't get to sleep until after two, as usual.
got my $19 monitor today. pretty cool. it's an old ibm ps2 14" deal, with the big red on/off switch and all. the picture's really not that bad, so i think i got a good deal. of course i still can't play tangleword (online boggle, basically), which was the whole point of getting my starmax up and running, without system 8. and i'm not going to pay $100 for it, so we'll have to see.
the "strudel", by the way, is actually a beat-up ace hardware lightbulb carton with a couple of blacklights in it.
