magicbeans. nothing if not awkward.

last night i dreamt about teaching fish to play go telepathically. then i was riding my bike in a city some number of years after a cataclysmic event (rebuilding was underway), and i noticed something that looked like a small bowling ball in a ditch. i picked it up to look at it, and it came apart in such a way that it seemed to be extra-terrestrial in origin. i went inside a nearby house (and now there were a few other people with me), and there were more of these alien contraptions. then someone was knocking at the front door (we had come in the back) and we scrambled to get out. i went around the outside and talked to them, and it turns out that they were there to buy ball bearings from the person who lived in the house. i later found out from my boss or superior that the person who lived there was an alien who was making money selling ball bearings and things until they could find a market for the actual space contraptions. and then there was this big production that was kinda like a high school debate, except there were cartoon characters and politicians and the devil involved. it was about the fate of some area of wilderness that the government wanted to develop, but there was a spaceship crash site there, so we didn't want them to. we couldn't use that as a reason though, because we had to keep it secret.

so i'm s'posed to take this test tomorrow, and i get a call this afternoon from the testing office saying that they just got a memo from the school and the campus is going to be closed as of noon tomorrow and so they're canceling the test. and so i have to reschedule it for next monday. just set the whole process a little further back. i just wanna take a couple artistic classes. i don't care about all the bureaucracy.

but it's ten o'clock and i haven't eaten dinner, so i'm gonna go see what i can stir up.
