so it doesn't look like i'm gonna be getting any money from li to pay rent, which is due tomorrow, among other bills. and it would be nice to eat something one of these days (although i did make some rice/cream of squash sorta gruel-like stuff for dinner tonight). but anyway, i called my bank back in connecticut to see if there was any way i could transfer my backup money into an account that i can access from here. yes, i actually have backup money. i'm kinda surprised myself. doesn't that take foresight or something? planning? fiscal responsibility? but that's the crux. 'cause i'm on the phone with the bank, and i tell them i'm in texas and will be for another couple of months, and they say sure, you can transfer some money. and so i'm thinking how much should i transfer? enough to pay this month's bills and buy some food? enough to pay the rest of my bills while i'm here in texas? will i be responsible with it if i transfer that much, or will i go blow it on musical instruments?
