magicbeans. nothing if not awkward.

i went to a couple of museums in northwest massachusetts with my mom today. first the new mass moca, a contemporary art museum being built in a renovated industrial complex. it's a really nice space, some of the walls have been left with old peeling bricks, other painted. it includes the largest gallery in north america. some of the architecture is nicer than some of the art. but there is some cool art too. (and i'm a little biased, i s'pose.)

then to the williams college museum of art. where there were a few interesting exhibitions.

i watched a movie called belly of an architect on the independent film channel this evening. kinda interesting psychological movie about architects.
