it's my mom's birthday [again in retrospect, as i'm typing this on the 21st]. so happy birthday mom. (i did make a card for her, so it's not like this belated message is all.)
continued working on my big painting today. i did some playing around with an image of myself in photoshop (an old beancam pic). and eventually just had a grid of coloured squared which i used as a basis for painting the canvas. so it's a grid of seven by six sketchily painted 5x5in squares (that's 42, you know) in a brown/orange/green spectrum.
i'm not sure what i'm going to do on top of that yet.
