the price we pay for entertainment. instead of the orientation thing this morning, alex and i went to see the skate street finals at the gravity games. i got super sunburnt. it was real cool though. makes me want to go out and buy a skateboard.
we got some lunch, and then went back with yuka and kris (who had just arrived) to see the bike vert finals. and there was more sun. and we sat and waited. and then sun went down. and we sat and waited. and eventually it started. but it was really cool too. i took a bunch of photos today. we'll see how they come out.
came back up to campus and went to a transfer student get-together. i only really mingled with people i know from the summer, but at least i mingled. talked with nathan and olivia for a while.
and then evening two without internet access.
