woke up this morning convinced that it was saturday and i had to work in the library in the afternoon. then realized that no, it was thursday, and i didn't have any commitments all day. wintersession's almost over and i still haven't gotten used to it.

didn't venture out until about 230. the food at the met wasn't worth eating, but i ran into cybèle and jay, and went to see the illustration department show with them. some nice stuff, some that i wasn't terribly impressed with. i think that cybèle was the only sophomore with work in the show. that's pretty cool.

decided to give the met another go for dinner. still wasn't any good, but i resigned myself to finding something there to eat. it was pretty empty when i got there. eventually chris showed up. i told him i felt guilty about dissing him last night. and then alexis, luke, and kris. but a generally small transfer student turnout for dinner.

and after they all left i went over to say hi to susie and jeremy, and ended up sitting back down and hanging out in the met until they had closed and everyone else had left.

went to susie's to watch movies with a small handful of that circle. freaks, a 1932 film by the guy who did the original dracula. a drama (although billed as a horror flick) set in a circus sideshow, most of the actors were actual sideshow freaks. and labyrinth, which i hadn't seen in many many years.

somehow i always seem to end up sitting on the floor during movie nights. but other than that i had a good time.
