lazy sunday.

pretty much just sat around all day. reading the newspaper, or playing guitar (mostly feedback really), or watching tv.

saw the entirety of dune for the first time. it's really not the greatest movie. but it's certainly worth watching. and apparently the sci-fi channel is working on a new mini-series version that will be on in december. looks like it could be good.

got an email response to my enquiry about getting some summer work for an internet company that a few former li.com people have been working for and recommended. just a little one line thing, saying basically fax us yr resume. now, i know they're a real company and all that, and it's the professional way to do things, but the formality of it all left a bad taste in my mouth. when i first talked with daniel he asked me what sorts of music i liked. and granted, li never paid me much of anything, and eventually went out of business, but, in a way, it was like a family (however disfunctional). this email didn't even include a "hi, glad yr interested, lou and andrew have said nice things about you." bummer.
