sushi night had the potential of becoming another one of those big production numbers. all sorts of likely, but not totally confirmed guests. didn't end up being too bad though. bigger than my ideal dinner party size, but reasonable.

dave.z, who came for the first time wanted to go see o brother, where art thou. so we all went out to the theatre in the mall afterwards. it's the first time i had been in the mall theatre even though it's been open for about a year.

everyone really liked the movie except me. it was all right, but i wasn't particularly impressed.
