crit on our workstation designs today. some interesting stuff came up in discussion of my design about creating physical places to ground us while we spend most of our time in the no-places of the internet. particularly apropos because i got into the whole architecture thing with the idea that one day i'd like to be designing "built" environments for those no-places. of those no-places. making them places.

i'm finally getting used to italian pronunciation. which is a step, i guess. i wish i had more opportunity to study, i tend to forget about class until the day of. but it's starting to come together.
