magicbeans. nothing if not awkward.

so today was a day of disappointments. found out for sure that i didn't win the competition. kevin got an honourable mention (no cash value) and it's nice that someone in my section got some recognition, but it didn't stop me from feeling bad about it not being me. and i think my project was really good. it's just that my presentation wasn't all that flashy.

and in part two i found a letter in my box from the aia. i didn't get the scholarship that i had applied for either. of course no explanation of why. just a rejection.

i did get my italian mid-term back. and i got a 92.5. a good deal better than i suspected. which improved my mood a little.

came home from class and planted myself in front of the tv with a bag of corn chips.
