magicbeans. nothing if not awkward.

garth and chris.k woke me up with apple cookie/muffin making this morning. but a tasty breakfast is pretty much always welcomed.

spent some time in studio this afternoon. garth stopped by around five to go shopping. chris.k had been out taking pictures and was going to call with his whereabouts but hadn't been heard from.

there was some big fire burning across the river, and so we set out to find it. drove past along with tons of other gawkers. there were people playing baseball in a field right in front of the burning building. would have made a neat photo.

we stopped at the asian market, then back at home to check for signs of chris.k. he had left a message on the machine, that he was at the corner near some theatre, but i couldn't make out exactly what he was saying. we drove back downtown but didn't see him. then out to the other markets.

stayed home and watched the x-files while everyone else left for studio.
