talked with anne first thing in the morning about the windows in my building. i've found a solution that works with the column spacing and that i like but there were still a few problems that i had with it. she seemed to think it was okay. worked a bit more throughout the morning. started a list of what i'll need for my final presentation, but lost moment towards early afternoon. didn't do much else until i talked with anne again around 530 about the final drawings i'd be working on for next thursday. she feels that my interior perspectives should be collaged. to give contrast between the fairly simple and somewhat conventional outside and the wacky, colourful inside. i think it's hard to do architectural collages well, most come off really kitschy, which is not what i'm going for (despite the glowing plug-in teeth and field of yellow flowers).
i'll see what i can come up with. after a terrible met dinner (chris.k has almost $300 on his met card to use up in the next week) and two minutes of the grad student show in the museum (they were closing and kicked us out) i went back to studio and came up with a schedule for the next six days. tomorrow i just have to decide on my methods of representation.
