magicbeans. nothing if not awkward.

i got my lomo in the mail today and in my eagerness to try it out i think i probably messed up about half a roll of film. i didn't think to set the asa, it didn't occur to me right away that the focusing distances are probably in meters, etc. but it's definitely a cute, fun little camera.

the whole family was sitting outside the mailroom when i picked it up: chris.k, garth, cybèle, christian. and while i was opening the box and trying to find all the parts (batteries, film, etc) stef brushed by, leaned over, and kissed me on the head. and so i took pictures of all of them. likely badly exposed, out of focus pictures, but pictures all the same.

and sky and houses and other things that caught my eye.

when i've finished the first two rolls of film that came with my lomo, i also got an envelope to put them into and drop in the mail. the envelope goes to switzerland. more on that soon.
