magicbeans. nothing if not awkward.

day trip to sperlonga. the archaeological site (and attached museum) of tiberius's villa. and the beach. and swimming in the mediterranean. and waves and wind and sand everywhere.

the medieval town of sperlonga was very nice, built on the cliffside of a large jetty, overlooking the sea, with small stairs winding between and amongst all the inter-connected buildings. sort of touristy, but lots of stray cats too.

had to get rid of my perishable food before homestay so i made a stir fry for dinner again tonight. most everyone seemed to have gone out, but there were a few other people around working or eating or feeling tired.
