three trips to the new supermarket (just outside our front door). but somehow i ended up eating exactly the same thing for lunch and dinner anyway. salad with chickpeas. whole wheat spaghetti with garlic and oil. dinner had the addition of bread and wine.

forgot to get stamps every time i went out.

made my first phone calls from italy. talked to my mom for half an hour. got a busy signal at my dad's.
