at the end of the day yesterday, after all the stress, we joked about drinking martinis this morning at work. i didn't do that, but people did go for a drink or two after work today, at the bar downstairs, and i did have a couple martinis.

and afterward, a little drunk, to the movies with mike, chloe, and john.s. starsky and hutch, of which i had no real expectations, so in that respect was not disappointed. there were a few funny scenes. no one else in the theatre laughed at the two lines that i found the most funny, but of course i can't remember them now, so they can't have been that good. all in all, a pretty lousy movie. even under the influence of a few martinis. it had a great climactic moment though, and you might consider renting it some day just for that.
