So nothing happened last night. I slept fitfully, as I always do in an unfamiliar bed and/or with an unfamiliar person. Ellen was out cold for the four hours that were left of the night. The alarm, set to the Mexican radio station went off at 8.30, and Eleen hit snooze then curled back up into a hangover appropriate sort of ball. Again nine or ten minutes later. And again. And eventually just reset the alarm. Then hit snooze a few more times. And eventually crawled her way out of bed.

My hangover was not nearly as bad. General queasiness, but no headache. On her way into work (I wasn't called in today) we stopped for breakfast. Which didn't really help at all. Something like homefries might have, but finding vegan homefries in Hell's Kitchen was something outside of my range of my range of thought. So yes, there was no headache, but I was feeling a little slow on the uptake.

I got on the train at 50th. Thought about stopping at Whole Foods on my way home to pick up some stuff for sushi tonight. Debated that in my head for a good five minutes, but eventually decided I'd be best off by just going home and standing under a hot shower for while. So that's what I did.

And I did generally feel better after that, and a short nap. The queasiness stuck around most of the day though.

Laundry.

Sushi preparations. Rob's off in Canada, so it was just three of us from the house, plus three more: Chris (of course), and two of Dan's friends. Which was a nice size. We made miso soup this week. A medium sized batch of sushi. After which, and one beer, my stomach finally began to feel better.

We played a card game called Fluxx for a while, and then things wound down pretty early.
