I wasn't able to get ahold of Chris yesterday, but we did go out for brunch this morning. He starts his certified welding technician course tomorrow, and is still planning on working full time, so I don't know how much free time he's going to have to hang out for the next however many months that lasts.
And later, talked with George on the phone for a while. I think that we've only talked once or twice since spring started and he's been gardening again. He sounds stressed, but certainly better than he was over the winter.
The swelling and bruising has spread some from my broken finger into the rest of my left hand. I'm a little worried about it, but of course people broke fingers and things all the time before there were hospitals. I'm tough like that. I'll be fine.
