To Stef:
So I'm still behind on updates to my website, largely because I've gotten to the point where we exchanged a few messages last week, and I know that I'm just going to get myself all worked up and in a bad mood when I actually sit down to write it all out, but I've been writing the last couple of days as they've been happening, and for today:
Today is Stef's little sister Olivia's birthday. The youngest of Stef's siblings, she was the one that I was closest to. She could be a difficult kid, but I enjoyed helping with her homework, jumping with her on the trampoline, talking about books. She spent a week with us last summer when we lived in Providence, and she and I hung out on the days that Stef was at work. I was really looking forward to watching her grow up. I miss her, and wish her all the best on her birthday.
[I hung out with Marisa after work. Not a date, exactly, but I had a good time. I might write more about it at some point, but for now I wanted to mark the date.]
