No new ink. Yet.

I was supposed to be working on a project today that would've allowed me to take some photos in Times Square at freelance photographer rates. Which would have paid for a not insignificant percentage of the price of a high-end digital point and shoot or low-end digital SLR. However, towards the end of the work-day yesterday there was an email explaining that the whole project, which also accounted for what I would have been working on for the rest of today, had been canceled.
I thought about leaving the office and getting a new tattoo, but decided that I really couldn't do that until I finish designing the two that I promised Marie to cover up the ones she got when she was 18. And as it happened, Marie called to ask if I was interested in getting dinner with her and Dan after work, and I would have felt even more guilty if I had shown up with a new tattoo of my own.
