Threads ending.
13 December 2005
It's a little disorienting to spend the day working on something other than a Bank of America project. I definitely felt marginalised by all those projects over the past couple of years, but at the same time there was a comfort in knowing that there would always be another one coming down the line. And for the past couple of months I've hardly worked on anything but the museum. That sort of attachment to a long-term project is sort of atypical for the way our office works, but it too had a certain comfort level attached to it.
I've always said that I'm better suited to little bursts of all sorts of things, solving problems, jumping between projects, and moving on. But in a way, I'm going to miss the pace of the last few months, long days and frustrations sure, but there's something to be said for that thread of consistency as well.
