magicbeans. nothing if not awkward.

The party month of July continues with Matt's birthday party at a Mexican restaurant then rooftop in Park Slope. (Tonight was also Alex's rooftop birthday party in the old 'hood, but plans had already been made.)

The stereo system in the restaurant had a constant buzz which seemed to either be outside of the hearing range of most everyone else, or just didn't bother them, but made it impossible for me to follow any conversations. The margaritas were good though, and after a few of those the buzz inside my head was enough to cancel out the one from outside, to a degree. The food was slow (although when mine came out incorrectly with cheese, they replaced it inside of three minutes) but I took lots of photos.

And then Julia and Matt's roof. And beer. And more photos. And a relatively early (but too drunk to head into the Crater) end to the evening.
