Not letting my stomach keep me down.
1 October 2006
I've been feeling vaguely ill on a pretty regular basis for a couple of weeks now. I can think of more possible causes than I've got fingers to count them on. Not eating well, not drinking enough water, drinking too much alcohol, allergies, vitamin deficiencies, work stress, social stress, lack of enough direct sunlight, irregular sleeping patterns, mould spores, other things. Some of these form direct cause and effect links between themselves, helping to perpetuate the whole mess.
Which is not to say, in spite of the relative silence around here, that overall, things aren't going well. They are. I'm working regularly, the slowness of summer having shuffled off. I'm making a pretty good effort to get out and be social (the missing equation to living way uptown and working from home), I've done some catching up with old friends and some actually semi-successful meeting of new people. I've been regularly active over at Gridcosm for the last month or so, which may not fulfil all of my artistic aspirations, but it does mean that I'm doing something creative, and having some fun while I'm at it, and that's never a bad thing.
So yes. Mostly good things afoot. Just the pesky restless legs, tooth pain, and stomach tied in knots.
