Chris called tonight because so far "Chad" is the only person to have posted any comments with my new commenting system. 'It's probably because I haven't actually posted any real entries since I announced the system last week,' I said. (I've retroactively filled in a few of the intervening days.)

'Nothing has happened in your life that's worth writing about? Back in 1999 or whenever didn't you just post something anyway? Even if nothing of note really happened? When did you decide to stop doing that?'

'I think it basically happened while I was in the hospital in Rome.' Which actually was something to write about, but I think that's the event that caused me to lose the momentum of at the very least trying to catch up for days missed.

'Well, today is the 65th anniversary of Pearl Harbor. Don't you have any thoughts about that?'

'Not really.'
