Naptime.
6 April 2007
Jenny came over this afternoon to take a nap. She had worked the night shift last night and had to be back at work at 5:30, but she wanted to see me, which was sweet. And it was nice just knowing that she was in the other room, even if I was busy working and she was curled up asleep.
I'm still feeling stressed about fairly insubstantial little work things. I think that part of it might be the disorder that the small fury of spring cleaning left in my bed/living room and office. The kitchen and bathroom are in good shape, but there's still work to be done. Today is recycling day, so I did get rid of a whole bunch of cardboard and paper that was clogging up the hall. If I can squeeze in another couple focused half-days next week, I should be able to bring things together, and restoring some calm to my environment will hopefully also restore some calm to my mind.
