Four letter words.
27 October 2007
'Are you writing an entry for your website?'
'No. But I should be.'
'You should just make stuff up. You should say that we've picked up and moved to Rio de Janeiro.'
We haven't moved to Rio. We haven't even moved back to Brooklyn. We do have two new bookshelves in the kitchen. We moved the dresser, and Jenny's desk, for which she found a chair in the trash that needs to be fixed. The landlord brought us a new fridge. We've talked about taking the doors of one of the closets, and about putting up some more art on the walls.
All of which means that yes, in all likelihood we will still be living in Inwood through the fall, and winter, moving, or looking into moving again, in February.
In the meantime, the leaves are beginning to change colour, and the little squirrels (born a few weeks back in a nest in our roof) play every afternoon outside my office window. I've got some new toys, both cheap and pricey. And the Bank of America design work has finally picked back up.
And I've said it before, but I'm going to try to get back in the habit of writing regularly.
