Under a melting snowball.
5 August 2010
I'm wearing a bathing suit today. Not making any statement. Just had completely run out of laundry. I had one clean t-shirt, the v-neck, and was completely out of pants (in both the English and the American sense). So I put on a bathing suit (that I had forgotten I even owned) and took two weeks worth of clothes to the laundromat.
Did the crossword puzzle at Pillow Cafe while that was spinning. Then home, a bit of work-work, and finally at 3-something, off to the library.
I had planned to be at the library all day, wrapping up work for my summer classes. Ended up being about five hours of mainly assembling my weekly assignments for my advanced cataloguing class. Although I'm quite good at categorizing and organizing otherthings, as far as my own things go, I'm not so adept. Which includes the actual homework, the contents of which is using library systems to organize other things. Some of it was on my laptop. Some of it was on my iPad. Some of it was on paper.
And so, there's still quite a bit of writing to do for my maps class. I gave my final presentation yesterday, which went well. But am a bit under the procrastination snowball of the written bits. I'm in class at 10 tomorrow morning (for the second half of class presentations), and after that, back to writing.
