One single solitary lonely point.
14 September 2010
Played the absolute worst solo evening of @trivialdispute ever. First half, "died today" and "songs about jets," one single solitary lonely point. Out of a possible 18. A little better in the second half, nine or ten in "famous giants" and "first name: Bill" (catch the theme?), enough to put me in the middle of the pack, but a pitiful low double-digit score.
Didn't win any of the shot questions either, college towns in the form of: "Which state university's main campus makes its home in…?" For the most part quite easy, so you had to be quick. Didn't do Amherst (UMASS), started with Storrs (UCONN, although it was not the campus I went to) and was a little sluggish on the draw. I would have gotten Orono (Maine, where Aaron went) which was one of the more obscure, but Gavin pronounced it like it was a town in Hawaii.
All for the best, probably, as I have to be at work at 9am this semester.
