Moon-men.
21 February 2011
Along with waking up a few times during the night to empty an impossible amount of snot from my sinuses, I had two types of dreams last night.
The first were of the sort that will only serve to confuse me in the future about whether or not certain events and conversations actually happened. They were completely realistic and completely mundane, populated with people I actually know, saying things they would actually say.
The second were sci-fi (political) thrillers. They started heavy on the science; moon missions and the technical and political feasibility of setting up a colony there. As that shifted into moon exploration and the discovery of a humanoid society living beneath the surface who believed that life on earth was just a fable, things also shifted towards thriller, with the arrival of yet another humanoid race, and my own entanglements with the politics of the moon society.
Not as sneezy today. But still achy. And the aforementioned sinus unpleasantness. There was a dusting of pretty snow covering the world when I got up.
More cutting up of audio. An email that class was cancelled. Which meant that I didn't have to rush back to school after my eye exam.1
A dab of work-work for a project that should give me a bunch of hours towards the end of the week. Some Projection Mapping. No Trivial Dispute. Call the night early.
1. I ordered new contacts. Though the eye doctor talked me out of the 30-day continuous wear lenses. Actually he wouldn't even prescribe those. But contacts again it is, and so I'm going to be able to wear sunglasses for spring.
