i was completely tangled up in my blankets this morning. i can't remember my dreams.

at lunch today, james wines gave a lecture and talk. he's one of five or six candidates for the position of dean of architecture and design here at risd. not a whole lot of students attended, but i'm glad i did. his own work is kind of interesting, but more importantly, he's all about interdisciplinary study. i don't think i really need to even know who the other candidates are to say who'd get my vote.
