ended the day sitting on the fire escape three stories up in the checker's building (where many risd students live) talking with chris.k about veganism and other belief systems and relationships and wussiness. i guess any sort of social interaction is a good thing, even if the main focus is about a lack of ability to carry on normal social interaction.

earlier, we had our first guest. christian came over and hung out and had dinner. excuse my stuff all over the living room floor.

and my first day working full-time in the library was not terribly taxing. only a dozen or so people came in to use the library. so i had time to get my website up to date and read a few more chapters of mason & dixon, which hopefully i'll actually get around to finishing.
