last night lou was talking about how he'll still be able to play quake from home on his imac when li finally dies. and i said li's never going to completely die. and lou said yeah, it will just be daniel running it out of the basement of his father's house with one computer with an li logo on the screen. in magic marker. nice sentiment, but i think that li's just not gonna die.
so i've got a week until this summer's big cross country road trip. i s'pose i should try to figure out what sort of vehicle i'm taking and assemble some supplies and stuff. i'm going to be visiting the see site. putting up a sign, taking some pictures for qtvr, generally scoping the place out.
last night i got email from gale, and forwarded to all involved with see, about george's idea for a see t-shirt. it was the first i had heard of it, but it sounded like a decent idea. of course i had to jump on it and layout a quick design in photoshop. and so i was here a little later last night.
before that, it was work on my new site, which should be up today. and then after the see t-shirt, i notice that one of the partitions on turnip is filled up. and i trace it down and it turns out some warez kids are using our public ftp space as a server. and so i had to clean that up and shut it down and snapshot some log files. and then i shut my monitor off, and am walking out the door, when it beeps. and it's ben with some more security suggestions. and then i am out the door, and i figure i should call george and see if he knows where exactly the levitt pavilion is, so that i can get to this concert tonight. and so i finally get home about one am and then eat dinner and do laundry.
but tonight, i'm gonna get to hang out with erin for the first time in over a month and then again tomorrow. and then i might go visit bret late tomorrow night. and i'm gonna be in beeper range for most of the weekend.
and then four days of work and them i'm off for two weeks. which reminds me, i've got to go buy the cheapest powerbook i can find.
