magicbeans. nothing if not awkward.

so i've moved onto some bigger online auctions. i bought a 4-track recording deck and a viola this morning. i think both purchases came out of my conversation with er!n last week when i said i should lock myself in a closet with a bunch of instruments and something to record on and not come out until i'd recorded something.

you can get quite an adrenaline rush from these auctions. there had been two people doing some bidding back and forth on the viola in the last 15 mins, and then with about 3 mins left i placed my bid, to be outbid with about 30 secs left. at this point my hands were shaking and i was short of breath and somehow i managed to get one more bid in with 5 secs to spare. whew.

and so now when i get these things, i am going to have to record something. rockstardom here i come. heh.
