magicbeans. nothing if not awkward.

slept late and dreamt a bunch but i didn't write it down earlier today because i had been doing so good with remembering dreams lately. and now it's faded into a tangle of faint memories of other dreams and movies and things that i'm not sure ever happened or if i read them or just made them up. sorta like when i see people on tv and i can't tell if i know them from another show or a movie or real life.

my teeth started hurting last night and continued to do so today along with my sinuses and the muscles in the back of my neck. allergies to some sort of pollen, i figure. not at all fun. i've been taking sudafed and tylenol and lots of vitamin c and still feel lousy.

i did get the urge to paint today though. i had pulled my box of art supplies out of my van yesterday (yes there's still stuff in the van) to get at my crayons, so my paints and brushes were handy. and i started a painting of sam. it wasn't easy to get him to let me start sketching, i had to wait for him to start eating so that he was sitting pretty still. but once i started he seemed interested in the fact that i was painting him. i like being artistic fodder, having my picture taken and such. i think sam's a bit like me in that regard.
