it looks like i've got a cold. i woke up particularly congested this morning. i slept until about 1030 again, 'cause i was up until almost three last night.

i had a dream in which i was working in somewhere like a airport or bus terminal store. there wasn't really much to buy, some magazines and some out of date comics. there was probably more to the job (and the location) than i can recall. i was working with alex.h [new convention, alex.h is risd alex, alex.s is nmh alex. don't get confused by the fact that the third latter of risd is s and the third letter of nmh is h, that has nothing to do with it.] and a couple of girls.

we were on break and the girls were talking about getting married and having kids. alex.h asked me how many kids i thought each girl would have. i said "i don't know, but i'm not planning on having any kids myself."

we had been listening to a pixies cd. the track order was playing backwards, 'cause it didn't skip as much that way. but we got to one track and it started skipping anyway. so i hit the button for the next (or last, rather) track. it wasn't the pixies (although this didn't surprise me in the dream), it sounded more like red house painters or one of the other old, more typical 4ad bands. the first line of the song was "i've never seen you wear blue or orange on thanksgiving."

i recalled the dream to alex.h and kris over breakfast. alex had taken on the task of interpreting people's dreams over the summer. yesterday he interpreted molly's jen dream, but i stumped him with mine. after hearing today's dream he just put his head in his hands. my dreams my be a little to weird for him.

after breakfast i headed down to the studio with tangerine (my laptop) to work on my modern architecture paper. i figured there were less distractions that way than if i tried to work on lime (where i have access to the net, and all my games like risk and scrabble, and photoshop). and so i actually got it mostly written.

i ate dinner early 'cause of my new job in the library (i start at six on sundays). and then spent my five hours in the library helping people and doing all the reading i have to do. or most of it anyway.

over the course of the day i was sneezing a bunch, but my congestion wasn't too bad. i was kinda sniffly while i was in the library. now i feel all congested again, and i've got a bit of a sore throat. and alex.h was going to let me print my paper on his computer, but i don't know where he's at. hrm.
