first an administrative note: i updated yesterday's entry twice, the second part was way at the bottom.
i was planning on getting up and cutting and/or dying my hair this morning. but instead i slept until about eleven. the sleep's good for me though. my cold seems to be getting a little better (although it's raining again today).
had some strange dreams too. one that was related to our concrete project for materials and methods. i had found these piles of bright green and purple concrete masonry units (what the layman calls cinder blocks, although cinder hasn't been used as an aggregate in quite some time).
there were some other bits about running through an amusement park, and staying in a hotel in an amusement park (they may or may not have been the same place), and some morbid stuff about death and this professor who was a scavenger werewolf. and another part where i was setting out on a long car trip with my dad and had forgotten my old shoes.
today's pix came out of playing with my scanner for a couple of minutes last night. the first is an enhanced spot that's on the underside of the glass bed. the second a scary picture of me. and the third from a row of stickers i found outside the met.
so i spent the entire afternoon at the studio and the entire evening working in the library. during the first half i came up with a solution to our new design principles project (due tuesday) which was subsequently shot down, leaving me about four hours tomorrow afternoon to come up with a new idea and completely bust it out. the second half was more productive, i finished all the reading that i have to do for the whole week.
now (1113), i'm going to respond to all the email that's been piling up and get to bed early.
