so i checked lou's website to see if by chance he had updated it. if not, it had been a month, and i was going to write to him and say, hey, it's been a month, what's going in yr life? but he had updated, basically just to complain about the bleakness of a new school year. (maybe i'm over dramatizing his words a little.)

nikki's site was also bemoaning the difficulties of a new school year, registration mostly.

personally, i'm rather looking forward to starting again. even if have my classes are likely to be terminally boring.
