magicbeans. nothing if not awkward.

so risd bought into all the weather hype and canceled school. there was supposed to be six inches of snow on the ground this morning, then changing over to rain, then back to snow. total accumulation of one to two feet. there was less than an inch when i got up.

and a snow day at risd isn't like a snow day in grade school. we've still got all kinds of work. it just means that the rest of the semester will be that much more cramped, trying to fit one more class worth of stuff into one less day.

but, it was nice to have the whole day to work in the studio. and there wasn't that much pressure, since it's likely school will be canceled tomorrow as well, when we're actually supposed to have some real snow.
