went shopping early because christian was working tonight. stef visited amy for a bit. and later we met back up and went and spent the afternoon sitting in india point park again, until she had to leave for home.

sarah.m called this evening to wish me a happy belated birthday. and to tell me that as long as i was happy with stef, she was happy for me. it sort of felt as if it was hard for her to say but maybe i was just reading nuances into the bad phone connection. it does take a bit of weight off of me to have heard from her though.

and we had sushi night, despite last week's feelings on the subject. it was pleasant enough.
