magicbeans. nothing if not awkward.

tried to find a computer that i could continue the carrot/plum move from. but apparently all the computer labs on campus are closed this week for upgrading and maintenance. ended up in the library, an hour and half or so before work, using one of the email-permissible computers downstairs. it's a good thing i had the foresight to install a telnet client on them the last time i was doing work on them.

and then at work i continued with the move.

i was supposed to meet stef at five when i got off work, but when five o'clock rolled around i was in the middle of a huge ftp transfer. and so i had to go home to clean stuff up on the other end when it completed.

[stef and i must have gotten together later. i have no idea what we did. the perils of trying to recreate one's life two weeks after the fact.]
