magicbeans. nothing if not awkward.

i spent not even fifteen minutes on my italian homework. but, the part that i did actually think about ended up being what we spent the class on. discussion, in italian, of things we liked and didn't like about homestay. and somehow, speaking with other people on my level, i was able to find words and express myself. it was encouraging.

before that we hung up our homestay assignments and went around and people talked a little about them.

and later the first half of people's slide presentations. there's people here who do some really cool work. it was inspiring.
