magicbeans. nothing if not awkward.

sent my nine rolls of colour film (well, c41 film, two are black and white) off to switzerland today. finally. lomo apparently does not ship anything but cameras to italy. but that's okay, i can get the photos online and have the prints sent to stef. if there's any that i really want to use in my art or anything i can have her send them to me here.

i hope that all these rolls come out. the mostly blank roll from homestay worries me. the fact that a few of these went through an airport x-ray worries me. there's pictures of stef on a few of these rolls. and other friends at home. and of wonderful stuff that i've seen here. i guess i'll know in a few days.

i painted my first ever acrylic painting today. mostly just colourfields, i collaged in a printout of the photo that stef sent me which i had scanned. and i little piece of a stamp. this is piece number 34. my framework for the semester is to make 100 numbered pieces. so far i've only done two, so i'll have to pick up the pace some if i have any intention of finishing.
