The MoCCA show yesterday did inspire to actually put pen to paper in some of the very preliminary stages of working on the new incarnation of Lighthouse.
I got out of bed relatively early, showered, grabbed my sketchbook, had a quick boost of espresso at The Archive, and headed into Manhattan. I spent the day in Central Park drawing. I didn't accomplish much, but the act of doing it at all was a big step.
Also today, I received two belated birthday well-wishes in my email. Both of them meant a lot to me. Probably more than I could accurately express in individual replies. Maybe for fear of being misconstrued. Maybe for fear of being too well understood.
