I think that I was sitting in the same seat of the same subway car on the ride home tonight as I was last night. There's eight cars per train, and probably a dozen or so L trains running at any given time, plus however many are sitting around in the yards, so there's got to be well over 100 individual cars. And at rush hour, the chances of getting a seat at all, let alone the same seat are significantly small.

So? Should I assume that this is some sort of expression to get me to work lousy bit of poetry that I scribbled down on last night's commute into something not quite so bad? Of course there was no real distinguishing graffiti or anything, just the ads, and they are probably fairly consistent with the way that they decorate cars that are getting the same set of ads.
