magicbeans. nothing if not awkward.

I was expecting to get my first check at my fancy new pay rate from PDG today, but apparently it's in the mail instead. Because I wasn't around regularly after my internship they had started sending my checks to me instead of holding them there, and they just assumed that I wished to keep it that way. Which is going to add a couple of days onto my ability to do things like buy food. I really did cut things awfully close this time, didn't I?
