I hardly slept at all last night. The insomnia's been back again recently. I was up early and into work to finish the Rockefeller Plaza model which has to be ready to pack up on Thursday morning for an afternoon meeting up at NBC.
It was nice to be working on something besides Bank of America branding. Jen.D and I were working as a team this time. She was printing and applying graphics, I was building the tents, broadcast platforms, media tower.
At 5.30 I had to switch gears back to Bank of America, for another project that has to be ready for Thursday. I was planning on staying late to finish up as much of it as possible today, but Marie called and asked if I wanted to meet her and Dan for dinner. 'I thought you'd already be home,' she said, 'since you went into work so early this morning.' I decided that tomorrow could be my late day, and headed out around 6.30.
We met up at Digital Society and walked down to Madras Cafe. We passed a girl walking the other way on 10th Street, and while I'm sure I would never recognize her again, she was stuck in my thoughts for the rest of the evening.
