It's the mast weekend that MoMA QNS is open before everything gets sent back to Manhattan and the newly renovated museum opens. So I figured I should go. As is my life, I couldn't find anyone to go with. Er!n talked about going last weekend, but that didn't happen and I couldn't get ahold of her today. Chris did go last weekend (or the weekend before). Marisa was busy with work, and it may still be too soon after hanging out the other night.

But that's all fine. Museums are something that works almost as well (sometimes better) by yourself. The two big exhibits still on display were one of skyscrapers, which I figured I should see given my thing for towers, and the first major retrospective of Lee Bontecou's work. There were a couple of cool skyscraper models, a few interesting projects, but mostly blah. Bontecou's sculptures were a million tome more architecturally interesting than any of the architecture.

Then back into Manhattan and some new clothes at Guess and H&M. The new 'dress code' at work, while still not spelled out at all, has inspired some people, who were previously dressing like me (jeans and a t-shirt), to start dressing more like what I aspire to. And although they make more money that I do and can afford a quicker change of wardrobe, I am making enough now that I can by a new dress shirt or pair of pants every now and then. Which is nice.
