Squeak.
8 December 2004
Into the office at noon. My computer is occupied by someone else. A cup of coffee and some pacing around. Then into Ben's office. 'I'm a bit concerned about my status here. I think I've actually been booked to work on maybe one project since Democracy Plaza. Other than that, if I show up there's sometimes work. If I don't show up there's nothing. PDG is my primary source of income, and I need it to be more reliable than this.'
His response was at least a little encouraging. Its not that I'm being actively ignored. It's just that I've somehow fallen through the cracks. There is a lot going on right now that I could probably be involved in. A lot of Bank of America stuff being scheduled now for 2005.
It's a conversation that I probably should have had two weeks ago. But good to get it out in the open now.
We'll see where it all leads.
Later on in the day, watery eyes. All through bedtime. I don't know if it's allergies or if I've been crying.
