Low-key Christmas.
25 December 2004
Not as bad as last Christmas, but probably the second least festive Christmas I've had, after my first away from home.
We did have a tree, which George dropped off yesterday afternoon when he called my mom to see when I was coming up and she told him that she didn't have one yet. And Sam and Aaron were around last night, and we all decorated it together. We had brunch of waffles and grapefruit and coffee.
We didn't exchange gifts. (Aaron did bing by one wrapped present for each of us. My idea was to promise a piece of artwork, a few months down the road when I get my studio set up.) And then Aaron was off and Sam turned on VH1's I Love the '80s marathon and, with the exception of a few glasses of soynog with rum later on, that was it for Christmas.
